My favorite online football games, if I only have a few minutes, are actually the flash games, as cheesy and unrealistic as these can be. There is one in particular that I like, where you get to be the quarter back, and you have to throw the ball through as many targets as you possibly can in two minutes before time runs out. Sure, it is only a basic target game, but the online football setting makes it really appeal to me in a way that, say, a shoot em up never would.
